How Can I Participate

Registration Categories

This event is for firefighters OR people who want to support a good cause. Whatever your ability, the registration categories are as follows:

Extreme Firefighter Individual Race
Each participant completes all five phases of the course. This race is extremely rigorous and fun to watch. It is geared to very fit and competitive firefighters. Firefighters will be wearing full turn-out gear, SCBA and breathing air. Competitors should bring their own turn-out gear and SCBA. ($15 per person)

Firefighter Individual Race
Each firefighter completes all five phases of the course. This category is meant to attract firefighters who want to compete on a more casual basis. Firefighters will be wearing full turn-out gear, SCBA but will not be breathing air. Firefighters should bring their own turn-out gear. SCBA can be provided. ($15 per person)

Firefighter Fun Individual Race
Each firefighter completes all five phases of the course. This category is for firefighters of all ages and abilities who want to have fun but challenge themselves on the course. Firefighters will wear helmet and gloves only. Participants may bring their own or use those provided. ($15 per person)

Firefighter Team Relay (3-5 members)
Each firefighter on the team completes at least one phase of the course. This category is for firefighters who want to compete on a more casual basis. Relay team members wear full turn-out gear, SCBA but no mask. Firefighters should bring their own turn-out gear. SCBA can be provided. Only one member of this team can be from the extreme category. ($30 per team)

Explorer (ages 16-21) Team Relay (3-5 members)
Each member of the team completes at least one phase of the competition. This category is designed for Explorer groups to come out and have fun and challenge other teams. Relay team member wears helmet and gloves provided. (Free)

Corporate Team Relay (3-5 members)
Each member of the team completes at least one phase of the competition. This category is designed for the group that wants to come out and have fun. Relay team member wears helmet and gloves provided. (Requires sponsorship)
